■Application scope

Applied in data centers, power plants, mobile construction, mining, cogeneration, oil and gas, auxiliary power sources, basic and high backup applications.

■Power Description

Continuous power: refers to the power that can be continuously used according to the rated load without time limit. Calibrate the engine for no overload capacity based on continuous power.

Common power: refers to the power that can be used instead of commercial power grids; The commonly used power can be divided into two types based on usage conditions.

1. Common power for unlimited operation

Engines calibrated according to commonly used power can be effectively used with variable load and no time limit. Within every 250 hours of operation, the average variable load cannot exceed 70% of the calibrated common power.

Within a year, the entire operating time of 100% common power shall not exceed 500 hours.

Within a 12 hour operating cycle, there is a 1 hour effective overload capacity of 10%. Within a year, the operating time of 10% overload shall not exceed 25 hours.

2. Common power for limited time operation

Engines calibrated according to commonly used power can operate indefinitely for constant load purposes. For example, in situations where low power is used and output power is limited. On the premise that the power will never exceed the commonly used power calibration, it is recommended to operate on the grid for less than 750 hours within one year.

Backup power: refers to the instantaneous maximum power of the backup power supply. When used at standby power, the engine has no overload capacity. Cannot be connected to the power grid for use.

The engine used for standby power shall be used at an average load rate of 80%, and shall not exceed 200 hours per year. The time used at the backup point shall not exceed 25 hours per year.

■Altitude and ambient temperature

The rated power of a diesel generator set refers to the power at an altitude of no more than 1000 meters and an ambient temperature of less than 40 degrees Celsius.

If the altitude exceeds 1000 meters or the ambient temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius, please contact the factory to confirm the selection.

Control system

Selecting the SmarGen single machine operation module can provide monitoring and protection functions for the generator set.

The control module can display information such as generator set voltage, unit frequency, unit operating time, battery voltage, etc; It can provide functions such as over frequency protection, over voltage protection, low oil pressure protection, high water temperature protection, emergency shutdown, and alarm for the generator set.

The manufacturer has long-term cooperation with companies such as SmarGen, Deep-sea, and DEIF to select appropriate control modules for customers based on different application scenarios.

■ATS automatic switching cabinet

Function: Switch between the main power supply and emergency power supply under unmanned operation.

Working principle: When the mains power is cut off and the voltage exceeds the normal voltage, ATS will automatically start the emergency generator set, and then switch the load electricity from the mains power to the generator set, which will supply power to the load of the generator set.

When the external power supply returns to normal, ATS will automatically switch the load electricity from the generator set to the external power supply, and then the generator set will stop working.
